Would diversion of wastewater to Snowbowl affect the Rio?
As I read the paper this morning I was wondering about the potential that diversion of wastewater from the City of Flagstaff up to the Snowbowl would
affect riparian habitat along the Rio de Flag. From the Rio's perspective, do we have 'excess' wastewater that could be diverted without habitat
loss? Would winter diversion lead to the Rio drying up when water is shunted toward the Snowbowl?
I have no idea of the volumes of water in play, but it seems like something that should be considered...
