Having trouble with the forum?

If you are having difficulty using this forum

  • Read the FAQ
  • Follow the instructions below
  • Post in this forum with a description of your problem
  • Email webmaster@nazaudubon.com and I will try to find a solution

1. Although all visitors may read the forums, you must be registered to post messages.

How to Register

~Make sure you are logged in.
~ If you cannot log in, this is usually because your computer privacy settings are too high to accept a cookie. (In Internet Explorer, medium, or medium high works best. Tools > Internet Options > Privacy tab.)
~Clearing your cookies and logging in again often resolves log-in issues (Tools > Internet Options > Clear Cookies).
~ Try a Ctrl-Refresh or the appropriate browser command to ensure a fresh reload of the page.

2. Once logged in; configure your Control Panel. This forum is a community tool. If you have questions to ask, be sure and check the box to make your email or U2U visible to other posters. Email addresses are not visible to spamming programs.

3. When you register, make a note of your password (try putting all your passwords in a designated mailbox for easy reference) or change it to something memorable.
Click User Control Panel >> Edit Profile
Cookie caches get dumped from time to time and when that happens, you will need your password again to refresh your cookie and log-in.

The cookie exists only on your computer, and serves solely to remember your forum preferences. This website does not transmit any user information to any other location.

Password issues?

Over time, your cookies cache and temporary internet files folder gets full!

Windows users may do well to dump them regularly as they are often crammed with tracking cookies from commercial sites and cached versions of earlier visits that may prevent fresh content from displaying.

Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet options > Temporary Internet Files > Delete Files

Frequently this file is 100's of megabytes :shocked2:
